Meet your cook!

Hi, I’m Aria. First off, I want to thank you for visiting Plant Based Pipp. This food and recipe blog is my place to share, discuss and celebrate all things plant-based.

I started eating plant-based when I was 22. Being a vegetarian since age seven, the transition wasn’t too drastic for me – but I did undergo a pretty significant learning curve. With eggs, cheese, butter and milk out the window, I had to reteach myself how to make some of my favorite foods. However, in no time at all I turned to cooking as a source of creativity and expression and found myself challenging my own ideas of balanced meals and ‘healthy’ food. Four years later I can say that making the transition to plant based eating has been the best decision of my life.

I am a huge foodie with a serious love for veggies. On top of veggies, I LOVE hot sauce, coffee and wine. You’ll often find I like to include a suggested cocktail or hot sauce with my recipes. Please join along in the fun and share your favorite recommends as well.
